This class is a chance for people to present the kind of community space they would like to see in their neighborhood. What would it provide to the community? What kind of space would it be in? Come prepared with an idea for a local amenity that would benefit your community, or just come to explore and come up with ideas together. This workshop will look at alternate ways sharing and maximizing small spaces for maximum community output, such as tool-shares, hacker spaces and youth programs. Starting with our dreams and working backwards we are going to design and reach towards our exemplary community spaces, and then start to research what it would take, on the ground, to make it happen.
