Can we work with people who own property and no relatives to pass it on to (or no relatives in need of the property) to establish viable and affordable community spaces.

Taking inspiration from the Grassroots Infrastructure Trust in Cambridge, MA in which a person realizing that he had provided a sufficient life for his children deeded his two family house to a trust to provide low rent and and donations to grassroots organizations we will discuss the possibility and practicalities of doing something similar in NYC.

This workshop will be focused on brainstorming ideas and making connections for moving this project forward.
